    Inverted Monorail Conveyor

Here at Midland Handling Equipment, we have re-designed many of our Monorail Conveying Systems, such as the 203 and 406 monorails, into Inverted Monorail Conveyors. The stiffness of the chains allows the product to be kept stable making sure it won’t move in motion. Primarily this type of system is used to make the most of the area space available, the design of an Inverted Monorail Conveyor gives the most efficient processing making any manufacturing process cost-effective. We ensure that all of our Monorail Systems are created with high-quality, health and safety in mind, this means that you will have a production line that can stand the test of time.

Inverted Monorails are most popular in the drinks industry as bottle conveyors, this is due to the fact that they can easily be coated or packaged whilst on an Inverted Monorail System. These systems can also be used for a painting application such as spraying or dipping.

    What is an Inverted Monorail?

An Inverted Monorail is just like a normal Monorail Conveying System, however, the chain is inverted. This allows more space in your factory or warehouse as the monorail can be set higher up. If a monorail is inverted, it means that the products will be below the monorail instead of attached on top. Advantages of using this type of system are they’re simple to manufacture and use, they are also relatively low in cost, but a disadvantage would be that there isn’t much flexibility.

    Upturned Monorail Systems

Having an Upturned Monorail System means that each product can be transported quickly and efficiently from A to B. Along with an upturned monorail, vertical transporters are available to move products up and down, it is also possible to have a gradual decline with your conveyor to bring your products down to a lower level. An Inverted Monorail Conveyor is an adaptable system, it will maximise floor space and can be integrated into any sized warehouse even if there are parts in the way. These systems can easily be modified for additional sections and conveyor paths. An Inverted Monorail Conveyor is much quicker at transporting products than any other conveyor system.

We give special attention to each mechanical part, making sure the need for maintenance is kept to a minimum. You can have the confidence of having an overhead conveyor, inverted or not, that it has been created and manufactured with health & safety in mind, making sure that you and your colleagues are not put near danger while walking underneath the conveyors.
